COMPLIANCE + DUE DILIGENCE

Financial-services technology should be built to withstand questions.

Skyline provides marketing, lead-generation, automation, consulting, and technology-enabled programs for financial professionals and financial-services organizations. Deployment should be evaluated against the actual program, current production capabilities, and applicable licensing and firm requirements.

This framework identifies areas for review; it does not certify a deployment or establish that every control is implemented.

THE OPERATING REALITY

Innovation does not remove the obligation to operate inside a supervised environment.

Financial professionals operate inside regulatory, licensing, supervisory and firm-specific frameworks. A technology or marketing workflow can be useful and still require review before a particular adviser, RIA, broker-dealer, insurance organization or enterprise deploys it.

Skyline does not independently provide personalized investment advice or insurance recommendations to consumers through its RothAI and AnnuityAI programs. Participating professionals must operate within their actual licenses, registrations, authorizations, and firm permissions.

Our objective is to make program roles and workflows understandable for review. Skyline, Tactive, and participating professionals each retain responsibility for their own activities and applicable obligations.

A PRACTICAL REVIEW FRAMEWORK

Six areas that matter in financial-services deployment.

Due diligence should extend beyond a vendor's feature list. Organizations need to understand how the system communicates, handles information, uses automation and AI, and fits within their own supervisory structure.

01

Marketing + Advertising

Review the language consumers see, audience targeting, disclosures, calls to action, and the distinction between education, lead generation, and personalized advice. Evaluate actual questionnaires, results, emails, reports, and chat responses; an educational label does not establish how a workflow behaves.

ClaimsDisclosuresContent
02

Consent + Communications

Review collection notices, communication permissions, opt-outs, and active email, SMS, appointment, recording, and nurture workflows. Submitting information or accepting general website policies does not, by itself, provide every permission required for another activity.

ConsentEmailSMS
03

Data + Information Flow

Identify information collected, its purpose, the systems and external processors receiving it, and access permissions. AI processing may involve identifiable information transmitted to third-party providers. Review minimization and masking for the actual production configuration.

Data FlowMinimizationContext
04

Recordkeeping + Auditability

Verify which interactions, communications, approvals, outputs, views, and downloads are recorded, retained, accessible, and permitted for export. Do not assume complete access auditing, immutable storage, or a regulatory archive from a general workflow-history feature.

HistoryRecordsReview
05

AI Governance + Human Review

Evaluate AI inputs, limitations, output restrictions, and independent professional verification. Raw professional-only Product Considerations are not client presentation materials. Review acknowledgments do not establish provider approval or remove those restrictions.

06

Supervision + Firm Approval

Each firm must determine permitted use, professional scope, internal approvals, and supervision for its deployment. Skyline and Tactive retain responsibility for their respective marketing, technology, information handling, contractual, and other applicable obligations.

BUILT FOR REVIEW

Make the operating model easier to evaluate.

Review the actual consumer experience, professional workflow, systems, processors, and responsibilities together.

A financial-services workflow becomes harder to evaluate when marketing, prospect data, automation, AI and advisor activity are scattered across disconnected systems with little explanation of how information moves between them.

The illustrative sequence shown here is not an exhaustive data map or proof of consent. Systems may process information at different stages; features, vendors, permissions, and available records depend on the deployment.

01 Consumer Interaction Advertising · Landing pages · Education
02 Notices + Information Collection Collection notices · Required permissions · Forms
03 CRM + Connected Assessments GoHighLevel · Capital Preferences where enabled · Follow-up
04 Tactive Licensed Technology + AI Processing Restricted professional experience · External AI processors · Decision support
05 Professional Review + Output Restrictions Independent verification · Required firm review · Restricted raw outputs
AI GOVERNANCE

AI-assisted decision support requires independent professional review.

AI-assisted tools may organize information, summarize interactions, prepare context, and assist professional analysis. More context does not guarantee accuracy or an appropriate conclusion. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, unsupported assumptions, or outdated information.

The responsible professional must independently verify source information, assumptions, calculations, product features, and conclusions. AI does not replace professional judgment, licensing requirements, suitability or best-interest analysis, fiduciary duties, or required supervisory review.

FOR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY — AI-ASSISTED DECISION SUPPORT — NOT CLIENT PRESENTATION MATERIAL.

Raw professional-only Product Considerations must not be exported, downloaded, printed, emailed, shared, or presented to consumers, including through screenshots, copied text, recordings, or integrations that bypass applicable restrictions.

A Professional Review & Approval acknowledgment records the professional’s review and responsibility. It does not constitute Skyline’s or Tactive’s approval of a recommendation or remove professional-only restrictions. Any permitted client-facing material must be separately prepared, independently verified, and reviewed by the responsible professional and any required supervisory personnel.

INSTITUTIONAL DUE DILIGENCE

Enterprise review starts with understanding the actual deployment.

An RIA, broker-dealer, insurance organization or multi-advisor enterprise may have requirements that differ materially from those of an independent practice.

Skyline can discuss program structure and implementation with organizations evaluating deployment. Review should distinguish verified production capabilities from demonstrations, planned features, and development-stage safeguards. Certification, security, provider, or contractual assurances require supporting evidence.

Skyline’s adopted prospect-retention policy uses a five-year inactivity period, subject to applicable legal and regulatory obligations. Review must confirm how inactivity is measured and how the policy is implemented across active systems, backups, object versions, and vendors. This policy does not establish that deletion is automatic or that every copy is immediately erased. Professional client records and other record categories may have different requirements.

SEPARATE BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS

Separate businesses. A defined technology relationship.

Tactive Advisors, LLC, an SEC-registered investment adviser and separate legal business, provides licensed technology supporting applicable Skyline RothAI and AnnuityAI programs. Skyline users access a restricted professional-only experience within that technology.

Professionals do not need to join or affiliate with Tactive to use Skyline services. Skyline can work with professionals operating through different RIAs, broker-dealers, insurance organizations, and other financial-services environments, subject to actual authorizations and applicable firm requirements.

Technology access and information processing do not, by themselves, establish an investment-advisory relationship with Tactive or mean that Tactive supervises every participating professional. Any separate advisory, investment-management, TAMP, or affiliation relationship requires its own applicable arrangements. SEC registration does not imply government approval or endorsement. Skyline and Tactive each retain responsibility for their own activities.

BEFORE DEPLOYMENT

A disciplined implementation sequence.

The specifics vary by organization, but responsible implementation begins with defining what will actually be used and identifying the review requirements that apply to that deployment.

  1. Define Scope

Define the programs, consumer experiences, information collected, professional outputs, integrations, and current production features being considered.

  2. Identify Requirements

Identify applicable licensing, privacy, communications, recordkeeping, supervisory, and firm requirements, including the internal approval pathway.

  3. Review Workflows

Inspect actual consumer outputs, notices, permissions, automation, processor use, access controls, available records, and restrictions on professional-only materials.

  4. Configure + Document

Document the defined configuration, verified capabilities, unresolved dependencies, assigned responsibilities, and applicable internal approvals. Confirm changes before relying on planned safeguards.

  5. Deploy Under Supervision

Deploy the defined configuration after obtaining applicable internal approvals. Monitor actual use and material changes under the firm’s policies; internal approval is not regulatory or provider endorsement.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Compliance and due diligence.

Does Skyline guarantee that its programs are compliant?

No. Requirements depend on registration, licensing, jurisdiction, firm policies, configuration, and actual use. Skyline does not guarantee regulatory or firm approval. Professionals and firms retain their own obligations; Skyline and Tactive retain responsibility for their respective activities. This review framework does not certify compliance.

Does Skyline replace our compliance department?

No. Skyline provides marketing, technology, automation, consulting and business-growth services. It is not a compliance department, law firm or substitute for firm supervision.

Can Skyline work with advisors outside Tactive Advisors?

Yes. Professionals do not need to affiliate with Tactive to use Skyline services. Tactive provides licensed technology for applicable programs. That technology relationship does not, by itself, create a consumer advisory relationship or establish supervision of every participating professional.

How does Skyline approach artificial intelligence?

AI supports professional organization and decision support and can produce errors or inappropriate conclusions. Independent verification is required. Raw professional-only Product Considerations are not client presentation materials. Professional review acknowledgments do not constitute Skyline or Tactive approval of a recommendation or remove output restrictions.

Can every broker-dealer or RIA use every Skyline feature?

Not necessarily. Firm policies and approval requirements differ. A feature or workflow designed for financial services should not be interpreted as automatically approved for every financial professional or organization.

Can Skyline support enterprise due diligence?

Skyline can discuss the program scope, current technology configuration, workflows, and applicable relationships. Review should identify supporting evidence, unresolved dependencies, and the responsible reviewer. It should not assume an unverified certification, deployed safeguard, complete audit trail, or automatic deletion process.
